The idea for Foovana was initially thought of in 2003 as a Foo Fighters tribute band. Then the thinking shifted towards doing a bit of everything Dave Grohl has been involved in. Naturally Nirvana became an obvious choice to combine the two bands together and thus was born Foovana. As an added bonus the band even delves into the one Queens of the Stone Age album recorded with Grohl. Foovana have been steadily turning heads with the energy of their live shows. Capturing the volatile energy, raw emotion that was Nirvana and putting it together with the pop sensibility and melodic hooks of Foo Fighters, Foovana are becoming one of the premiere live tribute acts in Toronto....more * Check out our Song List |
